In 2004, Ron
& Roxanne became the President & Director of the Songs From
the Heart Ministry “SFTH” – A non profit corporation organized
exclusively to minister to the heart, mind and spirit of all
generations worldwide. The vision of SFTH is to help people
discover and develop skills that will enable individuals to
move from poverty to abundant living, from helplessness to
hopefulness, from victims to victorious living through
ministry, education and motivation. Under their leadership,
SFTH developed many outreach programs that are still in
existence today.
It is
through the various outreach ministries developed and birthed
through Ron and Roxanne and the rapid success and growth of
the Heart2Heart Bible Study that God moved upon their hearts
to locate a center to accommodate all of their programs, and
in 2006 Ron and Roxanne were ordained as Pastors of the Real
Love Christian Center located in Country Club Hills, IL.
The Mission of the Real Love Christian Center is to save the
lost at any cost by teaching
and preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ to everyone
worldwide - regardless of race, gender, denomination or
creed. It is their hope that people will come to know God and
his transforming love. It is that love (Real Love) that will
allow us to come out of our comfort zones to search the
highways and byways to give back to others which was so freely
given to us. We plan to do this by providing ministries and
programs that empower, uplift and transform and by providing
an atmosphere of acceptance, forgiveness and most of all,
Love. 1John (4:7-11)
From humble beginnings, the Real Love Christian Center is
flourishing and growing rapidly into a purpose-driven church
with a mission to “Touch the World, One Life at a time”.
Pastor Ron is known for his clear practical teaching of the
Bible and is often known as the Pastor of Love because of his
passion and genuineness to “Save the lost at any cost.” He is
a visionary with a tenacious drive to push “God’s Agenda” with
simplicity and style. His life’s destiny is to see men around
the world take their rightful places in the advancement of the
Kingdom of God.
You can often find Pastor Ron encouraging men to take a closer
walk with God, and/or mentoring and spending time with younger
men by standing in the gap of an increasing society without
positive male figures.
Pastor Roxanne Harvey has served alongside her husband from
the beginning of their ministry. She is known for her strong
prophetic anointing and word of knowledge gifting that
provides insight to the body as a whole.
In 2003 she released her debut CD entitled “CLOSE TO YOU.”
This CD impacted gospel music like never before. You can
often hear Pastor Roxanne as the Radio Host of the Spoken Word
Radio AM1140 or see her making many guest appearances on the
Total Living Network (TLN) and CAN TV (a local cable
station). On numerous of occasions, it had been prophesied
that Pastor Roxanne’s VOICE was for the Nations…and this would
explain her passion and demand upon her gifts to minister in
places such as England, Ireland, Scotland, Honduras and
Jamaica.
After her most recent tour overseas, Pastor Roxanne has
discovered that her true mission and passion is to reach
non-believers around the world and through the Holy Spirit,
she believes their ministry will transcend the age, race and
traditional beliefs, thereby breaking down barriers and
bringing about a holistic transformation in the lives of God’s
people.
Together, the Harvey’s have been blessed with 7 children:
Jerome, Jevon, Jasmine, Tahron, Tiekeisha, Quianna and Ronald.
